An eight-month-old baby named Xiao Bao was stabbed 90 times with a pair of scissors by his mother after he bit her while she was breastfeeding him. The mother in eastern China’s Jiangsu province, Xuzhou, stabbed her baby in the head and face after he mistakenly bit her nipple while nursing.


Little Xiao Bao is recovering in hospital after having more than 100 stitches to his face, head, and neck.

The baby lives in a home with his mother and two uncles, who make a living recycling garbage. It was one of the uncles who discovered Xiao Bao lying in a pool of blood in the yard of their home and quickly rushed him to the hospital, unaware of what had happened to him.
